Here’s what chiropractic care can support during pregnancy:
Pregnancy is not a condition to be managed, it’s a sacred and transformational journey to be honored and supported. At Coastal Family Chiropractic, we believe your body was designed to grow, carry, and birth your baby with wisdom and strength. But that doesn’t mean you have to go it alone. From conception to postpartum, our role is to support your nervous system — the master control system that guides every physical, emotional, and hormonal change along the way. Through gentle, nervous system-focused care and advanced prenatal training, we help expecting moms feel more connected, confident, and prepared for birth.
Dr. Julia is Webster Certified through the ICPA and has extensive postgraduate training to provide the most specific, effective care for your changing body. We are happy to work closely with your midwives, doulas, pelvic floor therapists, and OB/GYNs to create a collaborative circle of support around you.
Research shows that women under regular prenatal chiropractic care may experience a 25–31% reduction in labor times and a decreased need for interventions. Why? Because when your nervous system is clear, your body can adapt more efficiently and birth more intuitively.
But this care goes beyond physical benefits. Our goal is that every time you walk into Coastal Family Chiropractic, you’re reminded of your power. Our office is more than a space for adjustments, it’s a sanctuary for growth, education, and community. Moms linger here for good reason: they feel seen, supported, and safe. Whether you need birth plan resources, want more information about breastfeeding, or just need a quiet space to exhale, we’ve got you.
And once baby arrives, our care continues, gently guiding both you and your newborn through the fourth trimester with the same attention, compassion, and nervous system support.
If you’re preparing for birth or just found out you’re pregnant, we’d be honored to be part of your journey. Because when mom’s nervous system thrives, everything else follows.
